We would say that it has a lot of wear and tear. This is from an old piece of farm equipment.We're going to paint it to look like a flower, but it certainly has a lot of rust.

And when it was used in the field,it definitely got a lot of wear and tear. So again, wear and tear would mean something that's worn out a little bit, something that has been used a lot.
